4X Groove Flat Wood Drill Bit

The 6mm IRWIN® Blue Groove 4X Flat Bit is the ideal choice for smaller diameter drilling tasks in timber, perfect for pilot holes, furniture assembly, and precision joinery work. This compact size offers exceptional control whilst maintaining the impressive performance characteristics of the Blue Groove range. Featuring the patented groove point and cutting edge technology, this 6mm bit cuts cleanly through timber rather than scraping, delivering professional results every time. The bit operates up to 4 times faster than standard flat bits, significantly reducing drilling time even on smaller diameter holes. The parabolic scoop design ensures efficient chip removal, preventing clogging and maintaining optimal performance throughout the drilling process. With an increased relief angle of 17° and a robust 152mm shank that's 10% larger in diameter for enhanced durability, this bit is built to withstand regular professional use.
