Bran Refill Bokashi Kitchen Composter

The Hozelock Bran Refill for Bokashi Kitchen Composter is a natural bran-based activator designed to accelerate the composting process for all types of kitchen waste. Developed in Japan, this bokashi bran combines natural wheat bran with effective microorganisms that ferment organic matter quickly and efficiently. This composting activator works with meat, fish, dairy products and table scraps as well as vegetable waste, making it far more versatile than traditional composting methods. The fermentation process produces nutrient-rich compost tea in just 5 days, whilst fully composted material is ready to use in 15-20 days. Once fermented, the compost can be added directly to conventional compost heaps or dug straight into garden soil where it breaks down rapidly. Ideal for gardeners, landscapers and anyone maintaining green spaces, this natural refill accelerates plant growth when applied at least 14 days before planting or seeding.
