2008 Old Calvados Cask Finish Highland Whisky

70cl / 46% / Distillery Bottling - This single malt from Glencadam was finished in carefully selected calvados barrels, supplementing the Highland distillery’s fruity character with notes from the legendary apple brandy of Northern France. Heather honey, baked apples, vanilla sponge and hints of chamomile on the nose. The palate shows apple strudel, butterscotch, spiced fruit and dark chocolate, before a warming finish with vanilla, flower blossom and citrus fade out alongside cocoa and baking spices.
