Jumbo Windowsill Heated Plant Propagator

Giving seedlings a heated environment helps them to germinate, so using this propagator enables seedlings to be brought on early in the season, ready to be planted out as soon as the weather permits. Measuring 80cm wide by 20cm deep and 20cm tall, it can be either directly filled with soil and planted up, or have separate pots placed inside with a variety of different seedlings. Whichever planting method is decided on, the soil will be maintained at a heat of 70 degrees Fahrenheit (approx 21 degrees centigrade). The temperature is controlled by the thermostat. The clear lid can be easily lifted off and placed back on (held in place with moulded ridges) and it comes with 2 adjustable vents, enabling the humidity to be controlled as required. The UK 3 pin plug comes with a cord length of 170cm, enabling the propagator to be placed in position to get as much light as possible - helping the seeds to get the best possible start in life. Please Note: the propagator lid will have condensation on the inside when operating - due to the heat from the soil. This can lead to water dripping from the edge of the lid. The propagator therefore may need to be placed on a mat, or other absorbent material to stop any staining issues Features: Thermostatically controlled heat: Regulated heat to stop over heating, ensuring a consistent temperature for healthy plant growth Warm soil increases germination: This propagator will enable the keen gardener to start seeds off months earlier than planting in the soil Humidity control: The clear lid with adjustable vents traps heat and humidity, but allows excess moisture to escape Fits on a windowsill: Large 80cm size is perfect for placing on a windowsill to get maximum exposure to daylight whilst being efficient with space Expand plant varieties: With the stable growing conditions created more exotic plants such as chillies and peppers can be grown Dimensions: The propagator measures 80cm by 20cm, the base is 5cm deep (internally), the lid is 12cm high and the 12 watt heating element is powered by a 3 pin UK plug at the end of a 170cm lead Specifications: Dimensions: H:20 x W:80 x D:20 cm Weight: 1.2 kg Colour: Black Guarantee: 1 Year Material: Plastic Model Number: GFH683
