Purpose Zinc Plated Screws

This 3.5mm x 30mm Forgefix Multi-Purpose Screw is supplied in a generous pack of 200, making it an economical choice for larger projects. The 30mm length and 3.5mm diameter make this variant particularly suitable for lighter duty applications and thinner materials. Featuring a Pozidriv compatible drive and countersunk head, this screw delivers a flush finish with substrates for a clean, professional appearance. The zinc plated coating prevents oxidation by forming a protective barrier and acting as a sacrificial anode, ensuring long-lasting performance without compromising the substrate's surface integrity. The Pozidriv system is distinguished by four additional contact points and the absence of rounded corners found in Phillips screws. This design prevents cam-out when used with correct tooling in good condition, allowing great torque to be applied confidently. The distinctive 45-degree embossed line on the screw head identifies the Pozidriv drive. Ideal for use with PVCu, timber, chipboard, MDF and similar materials, these screws are widely used across joinery, electrical, plumbing and DIY applications.
