Forgefast Exterior Elite 2000 Self Drilling Pozi Wood Screws 5mm 50mm Pack 180

The ForgeFast Exterior Elite 2000 Pozi Compatible Wood Screw in 5 x 50mm dimensions is supplied in a pack of 180, making it an excellent choice for exterior applications requiring additional diameter for enhanced holding power in standard-length applications. This robust size is ideal for securing heavier timber joinery, installing thick cladding, fixing substantial decking boards, and other applications where increased diameter provides superior grip and load-bearing capacity. Featuring the Elementech 2000 Coating System, this screw delivers exceptional corrosion resistance with a 2,000 hour salt spray test rating, ensuring elite performance in coastal construction environments and all weather conditions. The advanced thread technology and Pozi recess enable faster, easier installation with no pre-drilling required, whilst the double cutting point reduces splitting and drive time, even capable of penetrating 0.8mm steel. The serrated cutting thread provides a firmer fix with reduced drive torque and improved pull-out performance, essential for demanding applications. Anti-friction thread technology prevents jacking and rotation of adjoining timbers whilst reducing splitting risk. The reinforced countersunk neck delivers improved holding power, whilst 6 angled lobes ensure superior countersinking for a professional finish.
