Flooring Chisel 2700

The Footprint Flooring Chisel is a traditional hand tool designed for lifting floorboards and chasing plaster in professional joinery and carpentry applications. This robust chisel combines quality carbon steel construction with practical design features that make it an essential tool for floor fitters and carpenters working with timber substrates. Manufactured from carbon steel, the chisel features a hardened and tempered blade that delivers durability and edge retention during demanding floor lifting tasks. The forged construction includes a domed, anti-mushroom head that resists deformation from repeated hammer strikes, extending the tool's working life and maintaining safe operation over time. Ideal for lifting tongue and groove floorboards, removing skirting boards, and chasing out plaster during renovation work, this flooring chisel is specifically designed for use with timber and softer materials. It is not suitable for use on concrete or stone surfaces, where specialised masonry chisels should be employed instead.
