Soft Grip 6 Piece Splitproof Bevel Edge Wood Chisel Set

The Faithfull Soft Grip 6 Piece Splitproof Bevel Edge Wood Chisel Set is a professional-quality tool kit designed for carpenters, joiners and dedicated DIY enthusiasts. Each chisel features a drop-forged chrome vanadium steel blade that is hardened and tempered to demanding standards, ensuring the cutting edge maintains its sharpness through extended use. The bevelled edge blade design makes these chisels particularly suitable for cutting into tight corners and executing precise fine work. The handles incorporate an anti-slip soft grip coating that enhances user comfort during prolonged use, whilst the integrated steel striking cap provides protection when working with a mallet or occasional hammer blows. This design consideration allows the chisels to withstand repeated impacts without handle damage, extending the working life of the tools. The blades are ground to a 25-degree angle, increasing to 30 degrees at the cutting edge for optimal performance. For maintaining accuracy when resharpening, a honing guide used in conjunction with oil, diamond or whetstone is recommended. The complete set is supplied in a practical hinged wooden storage case for secure organisation and transport.
