No.4 Plane No.60.1 2 Plane

This Faithfull plane set delivers two essential planing tools in a convenient wooden storage box, combining a No.4 smoothing plane and No.60½ block plane for comprehensive woodworking capability. Designed for both surface finishing and detailed work, this set provides professional tradespeople and skilled DIYers with quality hand tools for precise wood preparation. The No.4 smoothing plane features a grey cast iron body engineered for strength and stability, with precision ground base and sides ensuring flatness and squareness. Machined seatings eliminate blade movement and judder during operation, whilst the lever cap with brass locking screw enables secure blade assembly and quick release for sharpening. Wooden handles and guidance knobs provide comfortable control during extended use, complemented by a solid brass blade adjustment nut. The No.60½ block plane offers a low-angle cutter set at 13.5°, making it particularly effective for end grain work and plastic laminates.
