Hand Rasp Block Plane

The Faithfull Hand Rasp Block Plane is a versatile shaping tool designed for removing material from wood, aluminium, plastics, fibreglass and laminates. This compact hand rasp combines the ergonomic design of a traditional block plane with the aggressive cutting action of a surform blade, making it ideal for rapid stock removal and shaping tasks across multiple materials. The lightweight ABS plastic body is shaped for comfortable single-handed operation, allowing controlled material removal on both flat and curved surfaces. Its compact 155mm length makes it particularly suitable for working in confined spaces or for detail work where a full-size plane would be too cumbersome.
