4 Piece Plug Cutter Set

The Faithfull 4 Piece Plug Cutter Set is designed for creating perfectly sized wooden plugs to fill counterbored screw holes in timber projects. This comprehensive set includes four plug cutters sized for the most common screw gauges, making it an essential addition to any woodworker's or carpenter's toolkit. Each cutter in the set produces plugs matched to specific screw sizes: size 6 (7mm), size 8 (8mm), size 10 (10mm), and size 12 (11.5mm). Used in combination with screwsinks, these plug cutters enable professional finishing of joinery work by concealing screw fixings beneath flush wooden plugs. For optimal results, Faithfull recommends securing your power drill in a drill stand during operation to ensure consistent, accurate cuts. Achieving a seamless grain match is straightforward when you use an offcut from the same timber being plugged, creating virtually invisible repairs and fixings. For the most accurate fit, pair these plug cutters with Faithfull brand screwsinks.
