Macpherson Clamp Separator Tool Kit

The Facom MacPherson Clamp Separator Tool Kit is a specialist workshop tool designed for efficiently stripping down shock absorbers fitted with MacPherson struts. This comprehensive kit allows mechanics to open the clamp at the workbench rather than on the vehicle, significantly speeding up suspension servicing and repair work. Supplied in a practical plastic storage case, the kit includes five different-sized clamp separators to cover a wide range of vehicle applications. The tool is compatible with popular vehicle manufacturers including Citroën, Peugeot, Ford, and VAG group models, making it a versatile addition to any workshop handling European vehicles. The system operates with a standard 3/8" square drive ratchet (not included), providing controlled leverage to safely open MacPherson strut clamps without damaging components. This bench-based approach offers a faster and more efficient alternative to struggling with suspension units whilst they remain fitted to the vehicle, particularly valuable for workshops handling regular suspension repairs.
