This HSS drill bit set contains metric sizes from 2mm to 6.5mm in 5mm increments. Made from robust HSS 4241 steel for durability, the bits have a 135° split point tip which enables fast centering and reduces the required contact force. They feature a type N spiral, which is standardised according to DIN 338 - this enables optimal chip removal and increases efficiency. Designed for drilling into metal, these drill bits will also deliver good performance on a range of other common materials as well. Each drill bit in the set has a standard 1/4" hex shank. This not only stops the drill bit from slipping in a drill chuck but also means they can be used directly in drill drivers which have a 1/4" hex tool holder rather than a jawed chuck.
