Joiners Warrington Hammer 6215A

The Draper Joiners Hammer, also known as a Warrington hammer, is a precision striking tool designed for fine joinery work and delicate carpentry tasks. This 225g (8oz) hammer features a distinctive cross pein design that makes it ideal for starting panel pins and small nails in confined spaces where a standard claw hammer would be too cumbersome. The solid forged head is manufactured from fine grain high carbon steel, correctly hardened and tempered to deliver the right balance of strength and durability for professional use. A protective lacquer coating provides rust resistance, ensuring the tool maintains its performance even in demanding workshop environments. The natural straight grained hickory shaft offers excellent shock absorption and a comfortable grip during extended use. The shaft is carefully sanded and lacquered to provide a smooth, splinter-free finish that won't irritate hands during repetitive striking tasks. This traditional construction method remains popular among joiners and carpenters who value the natural feel and balance that hickory provides.
