Brad Point Wood Drill Bit

The DeWalt Brad Point Wood Drill Bit in 8mm is a highly popular diameter for professional joinery, furniture making, and general carpentry, commonly used for 8mm dowel holes, shelf pin holes, and through fixings. Its versatility makes it one of the most frequently reached-for sizes on any job site. Precise cutting edges keep splintering to a minimum, producing clean, professional-quality holes in hardwood, softwood, and plywood alike. The brad point tip anchors the bit on contact with the workpiece, preventing drift and ensuring each hole is drilled exactly where intended. Engineered flutes maintain efficient chip clearance, reducing heat build-up during prolonged drilling. Built from high-quality chrome-vanadium alloy steel, hardened and ground centric, this bit is designed to perform consistently through the demands of daily trade use.
