Expert PRO 18v Cordless EXBA 4 4ah 2 8ah Battery Set

The Bosch Expert PRO BLUE 18V Cordless Battery Set pairs the compact EXBA18V-40 4.0Ah with the high-capacity EXBA18V-80 8.0Ah, giving professionals a versatile power solution across demanding applications. Both batteries use advanced tabless cell technology, which replaces the conventional two-tab design with countless parallel current paths. This significantly reduces internal resistance, minimises heat build-up, and unlocks maximum power delivery — making them well suited for continuous, heavy-duty use on site. The EXBA18V-40 delivers up to 2000W maximum power in a lightweight 605g body and can be fully charged in just 30 minutes, ideal for contractors who need a quick-turnaround compact battery. The EXBA18V-80 offers up to 120% more runtime than the Professional GBA 18V 4.0Ah and reaches a full charge in 39 minutes, making it the preferred choice when extended runtime on demanding applications such as grinding is essential. The EXBA18V-80 features reinforced housing, COOLPACK 2.0 thermal management, and a 5-LED charge indicator with defect risk detection. Its extended charging temperature range of -10°C to +55°C (when used with compatible Bosch Expert chargers) adds further resilience for outdoor and cold-weather working conditions. Both batteries are compatible with the Bosch Professional 18V System and the AMPShare multi-brand battery alliance, offering broad tool compatibility across brands.
