1985 Drain Testing Hand Bellows

The Bailey 1985 Drain Testing Hand Bellows are professional plumbers bellows designed for effective drainage system testing and leak detection. Used in conjunction with drain testing plugs and a U-gauge manometer, these hand bellows allow plumbers and drainage engineers to apply controlled air pressure to sealed pipe sections, providing a reliable method for identifying leaks in domestic and commercial drainage systems. By pumping air into the sealed pipe system and monitoring the pressure gauge, tradespeople can quickly assess the integrity of drainage installations. If the pressure returns to zero rapidly, this indicates a leak is present in the tested section, enabling precise fault location without the need for water testing. This dry testing method is particularly useful when working in cold conditions or where water testing would be impractical. Suitable for drain testing applications across new installations, renovations, and repair work, these hand bellows provide a straightforward and effective solution for ensuring drainage systems meet building regulations standards before final sign-off. Features and Benefits: • Manual air pump operation for controlled pressure application • Works with sealed pipes and U-gauge systems for accurate leak detection • Quick pressure response indicates leaks immediately Specifications: Tool Type: Hand Bellows
