Considered by some to be one of the more significant landscape painters of the early 20th century, he never got much recognition. Together with more famous artists such as Prins Eugen, Nils Kreuger, Carl Larsson and Anders Zorn he participated in exhibitions both in Sweden and abroad. He is represented at the Gothenburg Art Museum, the National Museum in Stockholm and Länsmuseet Gävleborg. Our paintings often bear some marks from the passage of time and can be beautifully faded. Frames can be weathered, chipped and cracked. We see this as an advantage and hope you will too. Please study the photos carefully.
