55 Series Basic Brass Padlock 40mm Extra Long

The ABUS 55/40HB63 Brass Padlock features a 40mm body with an extra long shackle, providing the extended reach needed for applications where standard shackles cannot accommodate thicker gates, hasps, chains, or multiple fixing points. This variant is particularly useful for securing items with substantial depth or where the padlock needs to span greater distances whilst maintaining high security standards. The robust 40mm size benefits from double bolted construction, significantly enhancing shackle strength against pulling forces. The brass body with non-corrosive internal components ensures reliable operation in all weather conditions, whilst the pin tumbler cylinder with anti-pick mushroom pins resists tampering. The hardened steel shackle provides excellent protection against hacksaw attacks, even with the extended length.
