About Portta electronics & technology
Digitising old tapes and consoles
For home users, the VHS to digital converters are the main draw. They are designed to plug in and start recording, so family videos can be saved without a complicated setup. Component to HDMI converters help connect retro games consoles to modern screens.
Kit for screens and desks
The HDMI side suits more technical setups such as studios and control rooms. Video wall controllers spread one picture across several displays, and multiviewers show multiple feeds on a single screen. Matrix switches route different sources to different outputs. Docking stations add monitors, peripherals and storage to a workstation through one cable, with support for three displays.
