PLAUD
PLAUD makes AI note-takers: small recording devices that capture meetings and conversations, then turn them into organised, searchable text. The company started in 2021, is headquartered in China and sells to British buyers through its own UK site. It suits professionals and students who spend a lot of time in meetings or lectures.

About PLAUD
Pick a device
- Plaud Note Pro and Plaud Note: dedicated recorders built for clear audio and transcription.
- NotePin S and NotePin: discreet wearables for recording on the move.
- Plaud Desktop: software for your computer that records online meetings without adding a bot to the call.
What to expect
Transcription accuracy depends on audio quality and background noise, so a quiet room gives the best results. Several languages are supported. Basic transcription comes with the device. Longer recording allowances and extra AI tools need a paid subscription, which is worth budgeting for.
