What's showing
The programme runs from family animations and blockbusters to documentaries and international cinema. On top of regular screenings, venues host filmmaker Q&As, festivals and live performances. Venues differ in size and character: Epsom and Chester each have six screens, while Ealing has eight.
The chain also backs new British talent through Picturehouse Create, its scheme for contemporary filmmakers.
Membership and other ways in
Picturehouse Membership is aimed at regular cinema-goers. Members get free tickets, reduced prices on screenings, priority booking, exclusive screenings and money off in the café-bars. A separate Student Member scheme needs a valid NUS card or student ID. NHS staff can save through the Blue Light Card, and there are reductions for the armed forces.
