No Bloat
No Bloat makes ready meals for people on a low FODMAP diet. Each item carries Monash University low FODMAP certification for a standard portion, according to the brand. Heather Mills founded the Brighton brand. It sells freeze-dried pouches you make with a kettle, plus plant-based sides and an algal omega-3 capsule. It suits anyone on the diet who wants a quick lunch at work or a meal for travelling.

About No Bloat
On the menu
There are eight meal pouches. They include a lentil bolognese with pasta, a quinoa chilli, a mushroom and edamame ramen and a Mexican rice. To make one, pour in boiling water, stir and give it 8 to 10 minutes. The brand quotes a 3-year shelf life, so pouches keep well in a desk drawer or travel bag.
Beyond the meals there are plant-based breaded sides: mock "calamari", "prawns" and "fishfingers", and cubes of smoky "bacon". The V-Omega 3 capsules use algal oil in place of fish oil. You can also build a bundle of meals and set it to repeat weekly or monthly.
Allergens and advice
No product contains gluten, according to No Bloat. They are made where barley, oats and soybeans are also handled, so read the allergen policy if that matters to you. The brand suggests starting a strict low FODMAP plan with help from a healthcare professional.

No Bloat FAQs
Do No Bloat meals need a microwave?
No. Pour boiling water into the pouch, stir, and give it 8 to 10 minutes to rehydrate. A kettle is all you need.
Can I send back opened No Bloat food?
Only if the item arrived faulty, damaged or incorrect, or does not match its description. Otherwise returns are limited to sealed, unopened items, and you pay the postage.
Is No Bloat suitable for people avoiding gluten?
No Bloat says its products contain no gluten, but they are produced where barley, oats and soybeans are handled. Anyone with a serious intolerance should read the brand's allergen policy first.
Does No Bloat deliver outside the UK?
Not from its own web shop. Shoppers abroad are pointed to partner stockists, while UK orders over £50 get free delivery.
