McIntosh
McIntosh is an independent yarn and haberdashery shop started in 2021 by James McIntosh. Its own wools are hand-dyed to order in Peckham, south-east London, and sit alongside yarns and tools from other makers. Knitters and crocheters come for natural fibres in distinctive shades, plus the needles and hooks to work them. Orders ship within the UK and worldwide.

About McIntosh
Yarn on the shelves
The house wools are the main draw, each batch dyed only once an order comes in. Natural fibres are the focus across the whole shop. Bought-in yarns come from LANGYARNS, Opal Yarn, WOOLADDICTS, Schoppel and Syfmfonie Yarns. Collections are grouped by project, including Baby Knits, Chunky Knits and SockInTosh.
Needles, hooks and extras
Knitting needles and crochet hooks come from KnitPro, Addi, Clover, Lantern Moon and SeeKnit, with accessories to round out a kit. The shop also leans into the calmer side of crafting, presenting knitting and crochet as good for well-being.
