About Le Boat
Where you can cruise
Closer to home, routes include the River Thames in England, plus Loch Ness and the Caledonian Canal in Scotland. Ireland offers the Shannon and Erne. France is a big draw, with the Canal du Midi and Burgundy, and there are waterways in Germany, the Netherlands, Belgium and Italy too. In Canada, crews can take the Rideau Canal or the Trent-Severn Waterway.
Choosing a boat
The fleet is split into Premier, Comfort and Value grades. Boats sleep between 2 and 12 people depending on size, so couples, families and groups of friends can all find a fit. Le Boat operates from 32 bases, and the team at each one handles training and support.
Booking and paying
You can book online or by phone. Payment can be made by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal or bank transfer. Holiday documents arrive before you travel, and the boat waits for you at your chosen marina. Cancellation protection can be added if you want flexibility. Returning customers can join the Captains' Club loyalty programme, and NHS and healthcare workers can get a discount through Blue Light Card.
