Joseph
Joseph is a London fashion house founded by Joseph Ettedgui, and its name is closely tied to fine knitwear and clean, modern tailoring. The women's collection is built around pieces that last for several seasons: cashmere jumpers, sharp trousers, blazers and simple dresses. It suits shoppers building a pared-back wardrobe around a few well-made staples, and UK delivery costs nothing.
About Joseph
Knitwear and tailoring first
Knits are the reason many people know the label. Expect cashmere, fine merino and soft blends, cut into crew necks, V-necks, cardigans and statement jumpers. Tailoring follows close behind, with blazers, trousers and skirts in modern shapes. The rest of the edit covers dresses, shirts and outerwear, along with accessories.
How ordering works
Delivery within the UK is complimentary, and an express option is there if you need something quickly. Unworn items with their tags can go back within 28 days, and returns are free. Payment options include Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal and Klarna. Joseph also ships internationally.
Stores and extras
The business began as a boutique on London's King's Road, and its flagship stores are still in the capital, with further boutiques abroad. Complimentary alterations are offered on selected items, a useful extra when buying tailoring. Students can get a discount through Student Beans, and there is an NHS discount too. Joseph is owned by Onward Holdings.
