About IK Multimedia
The main product families
AmpliTube is IK Multimedia's guitar software, modelling amps and effects so you can reach for a particular tone without the physical kit. SampleTank is a sampling workstation for building tracks with virtual instruments. The iRig line covers portable audio interfaces, suited to recording on the move. The company also makes studio monitors and a set of plugins for mixing and mastering.
Who it suits
Guitarists after authentic amp tones will look at AmpliTube first. Producers putting tracks together lean on SampleTank and the mixing and mastering plugins. Content creators who need to record away from a studio are the natural audience for iRig. The products are pitched at bedroom producers and professional studios alike.
Before you buy
You can buy software and hardware from IK Multimedia's own site, and thousands of resellers worldwide stock the brand too.
