How the plans work

Each plan covers a set number of printed pages a month. Unused pages roll over to later months, and extra pages can be bought if you print more than expected. The printer must be an eligible HP model connected to the internet, because it tells HP when to send fresh cartridges. Black and colour cartridges are both included.

What the monthly fee covers

The subscription bundles the ink itself, delivery to your door and the recycling of used cartridges. Empty cartridges go back through a free recycling programme, so there is nothing extra to arrange. All cartridges are genuine HP ink, which matters to anyone who would rather not use third-party refills.

Before you sign up

Check that your printer is eligible before enrolling. Plans can be changed or cancelled online at any time without a penalty. That makes it easy to move down a tier if your printing drops. HP's customer support team handles questions about plans and printers. There is no separate loyalty scheme; the service itself is the ongoing arrangement.
