About Herring Shoes
Shoes and boots
Formal options include Oxford, Derby, monk strap and brogue shoes, plus dedicated wedding and party styles. For weekends there are loafers, driving moccasins, trainers and sneakers. Boots cover Chelsea, lace-up, chukka and brogue designs. Many pairs are Goodyear welted, a construction that lets shoes be resoled, and Herring runs a resoling service for them. Luggage and menswear complete the range.
Ordering and delivery
UK shipping is free on full-price orders over £150. Herring ships worldwide, and parcels bound for the EU, US and Australia are priced fully landed, with delivery, duty and taxes included. Unworn shoes can go back within 28 days, and a returns bag comes in the parcel. Herring takes Visa, Mastercard, American Express and PayPal.
Help and extras
Shoe experts answer questions by phone, email, WhatsApp and live chat, which is useful when choosing a size or fitting. The Cordwainer Club loyalty scheme rewards repeat buyers. Students and under-26s can get a discount through the Youth Discount platform, and NHS and military discounts are also offered. There is a showroom as well as the website.
