Create Academy
Create Academy is a UK online learning platform, founded in 2018, that sells video courses taught by well-known designers, gardeners, florists and cooks. Lessons are filmed to a high standard and can be watched at your own pace on any device with an internet connection. It suits hobbyists who want practical skills from experts they may already admire.
About Create Academy
Courses and tutors
Interior design is a major subject, with lessons from Veere Grenney and Bunny Williams. Floristry is taught by floral stylist Willow Crossley. Gardeners can learn to grow flowers from seed with Clare Foster.
Cooking and creative crafts round out the catalogue. Each course is built around practical techniques rather than theory, so learners can apply them to a real room, garden or table.
How the learning works
Everything is delivered as pre-recorded video, made exclusively for the platform. Access starts as soon as you pay or subscribe. You can pause, rewatch and return to lessons whenever suits, which helps if you're fitting study around work or family.
Who it suits
Create Academy is aimed at people who want to build creative confidence, from curious beginners to keen amateurs. It also makes sense for anyone planning a home project who would like guidance from a recognised name first.
