Cloud Nine

Cloud Nine is a hair tools brand from Harrogate in North Yorkshire, set up in 2009. Straighteners come first, backed up by Airshot dryers, hot brushes and wands that curl or wave. Buying direct brings a longer warranty on most tools, and UK delivery is free once an order passes £60. Refurbished tools give a lower-cost way into the range.

About Cloud Nine

The tools

Flat irons are the heart of the line-up. The Original and Wide Irons each come in a Contouring version, and there are Slim, Touch and Cordless models too. Cloud Nine says its irons offer 11 temperature settings, running from 100 up to 200°C. Dryers sit under the Airshot name, including the Pro, the Pro Adapt and the compact Pro Mini. Styling brushes, heat protection sprays and styling sets fill out the shop, and broken straighteners can be sent in for repair.

Warranty

Buy on cloudninehair.com and most tools are registered for three years automatically. Shorter cover applies to three models: two years for the Airshot Pro, and one year for the Airshot and the Cordless Iron. Bought from Boots, Argos or Amazon instead? Register within 14 days to get cover.

Delivery and returns at a glance

Standard UK parcels take one to three working days. Next-day is possible if you order by 8pm on a weekday. Both are free above £60, and DPD pickup points hold parcels for a week. Addresses in the Republic of Ireland pay £12.00 and wait three to five business days. Liquids are UK-only, and orders cannot go to the US or Canada.

You have 45 days to send back a tool in resaleable condition. The refund is the full price less £5.99 for the prepaid label, and can take up to 14 working days. Students can get a discount through UNiDAYS.

Cloud Nine FAQs

Can Cloud Nine parcels be collected instead of delivered?

Yes. DPD Click & Collect sends orders to a network of over 6,500 pickup points, and parcels wait there for seven days.

Does Cloud Nine repair straighteners?

Yes. Alongside new tools, the brand runs a straightener repair service and sells refurbished versions of some models, such as the Wide Iron.

Who pays for returning a Cloud Nine tool?

A prepaid label is supplied, but £5.99 is deducted from the refund to cover postage. Tools must be resaleable and sent back inside 45 days.

Are heat-protection sprays sent abroad?

No. Sprays and other liquids are restricted to UK addresses. Tools can travel to the Republic of Ireland at £12.00, but the US and Canada are not served.
