Where the gold comes from
Clogau's Welsh gold comes from the Clogau St David's mine at Bontddu in Snowdonia, once the richest mine around Dolgellau. The brand says the same source has supplied Royal Family wedding rings since 1923. That link is a large part of its appeal. Each piece is stamped with the CG and Welsh Dragon marks.
