About Clarkes Golf

Clubs and kit

Putters, wedges and chippers sit alongside drivers, fairway woods, hybrids and iron sets, and the club pages filter by loft or by who is playing, with junior, ladies' and left-handed versions. Recent families include the Srixon ZXi, Ping G440, Callaway Quantum, TaylorMade Qi4D and Titleist GTS woods. Clothing for men, women and juniors covers polos, mid layers and waterproofs from labels such as Galvin Green, Under Armour and J.Lindeberg. Trolleys, bags, shoes, GPS units, gloves, headwear and balls complete the range.

The shop says it is an authorised stockist for Titleist, TaylorMade, FootJoy, Callaway and others. Stock levels on the site are live, so anything listed as available is held in its own warehouse and ready to go out the next day.

More than a website

Clarkes Golf also runs three shops in the North West, a fitting suite, 25 driving range bays, a par 3 layout and championship mini golf. Its main centre is on Mill Lane in Rainford, and Formby Golf Centre, Southport, is listed as a second location. Lessons and fittings are bookable online.

Delivery, returns and extras

Royal Mail standard to mainland UK costs £3.00 and takes two to three working days, or nothing from £40. Express by DPD/Royal Mail is £4.00 for the next working day and free above £100; the cut-off is 3pm, Monday-Thursday. Weekend DPD delivery is £7.00.

Unused items with tags and packaging have 30 days to be refunded or swapped, and anything bought from 1 October to 24 December can still go back up to 31 January. Refunds sent with the DPD/Royal Mail returns service lose £4.00. Exclusions include custom-fit items unless faulty, worn socks, base layers and opened blister packs.

Price matching applies under the shop's terms. Loyalty club members earn points, and there is also a trade-in scheme, rewards for referring friends and monthly payments with Klarna.
