Carphone Warehouse
Carphone Warehouse has sold mobile phones in the UK since 1989 and is now part of Currys plc. Its standalone high-street shops have closed, so the brand trades online, with mobile specialists working inside Currys stores. It suits anyone choosing a new handset, comparing SIM-only and pay monthly plans across several networks, or picking up a case or charger.

About Carphone Warehouse
Phones, plans and accessories
Handsets from Apple, Samsung and Google sit alongside simpler feature phones. Plans come from EE, Vodafone, Three and O2, plus virtual networks such as iD Mobile, so tariffs can be lined up side by side. Options include SIM-only, pay monthly and upgrades, and most handsets are sold unlocked. Accessories cover headphones, phone cases, chargers, power banks and screen protectors, and home broadband is on offer too.
Getting your order
Delivery is free on most items and goes by DPD, which gives a one-hour slot on the day. You can also collect free from a Currys store, but collection orders need picking up within 14 days. Carphone Warehouse doesn't ship outside the UK. Pay with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, PayPal or Klarna.
Returns, trade-in and support
Most products can be returned within 14 working days, and customer service needs to set the return up first. Old phones can be traded in for a value given straight away, online or at a Currys store. Take it as cash or as credit towards a new device. It also extends a handset's useful life and cuts e-waste. Carphone Warehouse will price match and sells gift cards. Discounts are available for students, NHS and other healthcare staff, and serving forces and veterans. Help is available by phone and live chat.
Sustainability at Carphone Warehouse
Carphone Warehouse promotes sustainability through phone trade-in programmes that extend device lifecycles and reduce e-waste.
