Editing tools

The everyday jobs are covered: trimming clips, adding subtitles and effects, and converting between video formats. Photos get smart cropping, filters and finer adjustments in the browser. Layered on top are AI features. You can generate video or images from a text prompt, create AI art, strip backgrounds from clips and stills, and sharpen poor-quality pictures. Resizing tools reformat a project for different platforms, and automatic captions and noise reduction speed up the edit.

Voice and templates

Text to speech reads out a typed script as a voiceover, handy for narrated videos or podcasts. Templates and effects are built with YouTube and Instagram in mind, so finished clips export ready to post. For the less obvious tools, there's a help centre, a set of how-to guides and a community of other users.

Paying and refunds

There is nothing to ship: you download the app or open the web editor and start. Projects sync across devices. Premium plans can be paid for by Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, Apple Pay or Google Pay. Refunds are governed by CapCut's Terms of Service and usually relate to billing errors or specific cancellation terms, so read them before subscribing.
