Hip Pop

Hip Pop

Hip Pop is a Manchester soft drinks brand that used to trade as Booch and Brew. Emma and Kenny started it in 2019 with small-batch kombucha made in Emma's kitchen. Today it brews kombucha, CBD kombucha and a tea-free drink called Fibre Fizz, all with real fruit and no artificial sweeteners, and sells them online by the case or on subscription.

About Hip Pop

The drinks

Hip Pop kombucha is fermented from tea with a SCOBY, a live culture that gives it a tangy, naturally fizzy taste. A little cane sugar is needed for fermentation, but there are no artificial sweeteners, and the trace of alcohol (under 0.1%) keeps it non-alcoholic. A CBD kombucha sits alongside it. Fibre Fizz is the lighter option: it is not tea-based and mixes fruit, a fibre blend and apple cider vinegar. All the drinks are suitable for vegans.

Who drinks it

Hip Pop is aimed at people swapping sugary fizzy drinks for something gut-friendly, and at families who want a more natural soft drink. Mixed cases are an easy way to try the flavours, and a subscription keeps a supply coming.

Hip Pop FAQs

Is Booch and Brew the same company as Hip Pop?

Yes. Booch and Brew, a Manchester kombucha brand, now trades as Hip Pop, and its website moved to drinkhippop.com.

What is the difference between kombucha and Fibre Fizz?

Kombucha is fermented tea made with a live SCOBY culture. Fibre Fizz is not tea-based: it mixes fruit, a fibre blend and apple cider vinegar.

Is delivery free?

On mainland UK orders over £45, and on every subscription order. Smaller one-off orders cost £4 by Evri or £5 by DHL.

Can I return Hip Pop drinks?

Processed orders can't be returned because the drinks are food. If something arrives wrong or damaged, email a photo to [email protected] for a replacement or refund.
