Bluecrest Health Screening

Bluecrest Health Screening

Bluecrest Health Screening sells private health assessments rather than physical goods. Customers book a slot at a UK clinic, then receive a report on areas such as heart health, cholesterol, diabetes risk and vitamins. The service has run since 2012. It is registered in England with the Care Quality Commission and uses accredited laboratories. It suits adults who would rather spot possible problems early.

About Bluecrest Health Screening

What the checks cover

The core product is the Health MOT, a general check that gives a broad overview. More detailed packages add specific areas, such as hormone profiles for men and women, cancer risk assessments and vitamin and mineral levels. Results also cover stroke risk, heart health, diabetes and cholesterol. An inflammatory profile, measuring markers of inflammation, now comes with every Health MOT.

How booking and results work

There is nothing to deliver. You choose an appointment at one of more than 400 locations, and Bluecrest says most people live within about 20 minutes of one. Booking is done online or through a free phone line. Reports use a plain layout, often with traffic-light colours, and staff talk you through them so you can ask questions. Each check also includes twelve months of round-the-clock GP helpline access. Through the MyWellness portal and app you can view results and follow trends over time.

Before you book

Payment is by Visa, Mastercard or Maestro, and gift cards are not offered. If you might need to cancel or move an appointment, read the terms first, as the rescheduling rules sit there. Shopperazzi shows the current packages next to these details.
