Pointe shoes are still made by hand. Ballet, tap and jazz shoes cover the main class styles, and there's minimal footwear for contemporary dance. For warm-ups and the walk to class, look at the dance sneakers and booties. Clothing runs from leotards and basics to skirts, tights and knitwear, with loungewear and ballet pumps for off-duty days.
Getting the fit right
A professional fitting at the London store is the safest bet for pointe shoes. Worn dance shoes can't be returned for hygiene reasons, so try any new pair on indoors, on a clean floor. Unworn items still in their original packaging can go back.
Delivery, payment and extras
UK delivery is free on orders over £55, and standard parcels usually take three to five working days with DHL. Click and collect is also offered. Bloch accepts Visa, Mastercard, PayPal and Apple Pay, and sells gift cards. Full-time dance and musical theatre students can apply by email for a student discount, with proof of a place on the course. NHS staff qualify for a discount too, and B-Rewards members collect points on what they buy.

Only if they're unworn and still in the original packaging. For hygiene reasons, Bloch can't take back dance shoes that have been worn.
