Kit for cold days on the mountain
Balaclavas are the backbone, from the Merino Hood Balaclava to the printed Expedition Hood range. Neck cover includes the Merino Tube gaiter, with headbands and beanies too. Caldera sherpa fleece comes as pullovers, trousers and a beanie. The Skyliner crewnecks are all-season base layers for men and women, joined by tech shirts, midlayers and hoodies. Smaller items include goggle covers, Cruiseliner glove liners, sun protection and stuff sacks, and there is a children's range. Founder Abe Shehadeh dates the brand's beginnings to 2006 and his snowboarding days on Mount Bachelor.
Getting it to Britain
Each courier quotes its own rate at checkout. For one light item in October 2026, DHL eCommerce Parcel Direct cost £15 and took around 7 to 9 days. UPS Worldwide Expedited was £20 for 3 to 5 days, and DHL Express £34. Dispatch from Oregon usually happens within two business days. On weekdays, orders in before 10am Pacific time may leave the same day. The shipping page allows 7 to 14 business days for standard international delivery. Free shipping is for US addresses only.
The returns catch
Anything shipped beyond the US and its territories cannot be returned, according to BlackStrap's returns page. Free 30-day returns and exchanges are for American customers. For a UK buyer, that rules out swapping a size, so be sure of the fit before you order.
