People who sleep too hot or too cold are the audience for BedJet. The American company makes bedside units that blow cooled or warmed air under the covers. Mark Aramli, a former NASA spacesuit engineer, started it in 2013 in Newport, Rhode Island. UK-plug models are sold, and delivery to the UK is free, though parcels travel from the US. It also suits couples who like their sides of the bed at different temperatures.

A BedJet unit sits next to the bed and sends air through a hose beneath the bedding. It works with the duvet a household already owns. The brand claims the bed reaches the chosen temperature within seconds and that the airflow dries sweat from the sheets. It also says the unit installs on any bed without tools. Dual Zone systems give each side its own setting. The BedJet 3 Mini covers half a bed and is also sold for student rooms. Beyond the climate units, the range includes PowerLayer bases, ultra-thin adjustable frames that can take an optional massage motor and headboard kit. Cotton Cloud Sheets, certified refurbished units and spare filters, hoses and remotes are sold too.
Buying from the UK
Choosing United Kingdom in the site's region menu switches prices to pounds and shows the UK-plug 220 to 240V versions. Delivery is free, with 1 to 2 business days of processing followed by 3 to 5 in transit. Because the parcel comes from the US, any customs duty, tax or import fee due on arrival is the customer's to pay.
Returns
New products can go back within 60 days of receipt, with a prepaid label supplied for UK returns. The refund is paid 3 to 5 business days after the return lands at the warehouse. Certified refurbished units can't be returned, and sending back only part of a bundle means losing the bundle price.
