Austin Austin is a Norfolk family business making certified organic soaps, creams and balms for hands, hair and body. Richard Austin, who has worked in organics since the 1970s, set it up in 2017 with his daughter Bessie, whose background is in design. Nearly all production happens in East Anglia, and the range also stretches to home fragrance.

About Austin Austin
What's in the range
Hand care is the backbone: exfoliating hand soaps and hand creams in scents such as Cedar & Patchouli and Geranium & Vetiver. Hair products and body balms sit alongside, including a Rosemary Balm. For the home, scented ceramic sculptures carry the same fragrances. Refills come in LDPE pouches, and gift sets bundle several products together.
The organic credentials
The Soil Association certifies every product as organic to the full COSMOS standard. There are no parabens, silicones, mineral oils or SLS in the formulas, and no GM ingredients, artificial colours or artificial fragrances. Products are made in the UK and tested on people rather than animals. All but one are vegan, so check the listing if that matters to you. Bottles use entirely recycled material, the boxes come from sustainably managed forests, and all of it can be recycled.
