About Assembly Coffee
Coffee and kit
The beans include single origins and house blends, labelled by process: washed, natural or assisted fermentation. A subscription keeps fresh coffee arriving, and discovery sets make it easy to compare several at once. On the equipment side there are espresso machines, grinders, filter brewers, papers and scales from names such as Kinu, Fellow, Sibarist and Orea.
Ordering in the UK
Coffee is roasted to order. Orders placed before noon on a weekday can go out for next-day delivery, although equipment is excluded. UK shipping is free once the basket passes £40. Visa, Mastercard and PayPal are accepted, and the roaster ships abroad too. To return a sealed product, contact customer service first.
Visiting and wholesale
The Brixton base at 244 Ferndale Road has a coffee bar where the range can be tried. Cafes and restaurants can buy wholesale, and live chat on the website handles quick questions. That mix suits home baristas who want fresh beans and the right equipment from the same roaster.
Sustainability at Assembly Coffee
Assembly Coffee is committed to promoting ethical and exotic coffees, working collaboratively with cafes and restaurants to ensure responsible sourcing and innovation within the specialty coffee industry.
