About Alterre

Customizable Comfort and Conscious Fashion Alterre, established in 2015, is a pioneering brand in women's footwear, known for its innovative approach to customizable shoes. Founded by Shilpa, an AAPI female entrepreneur, Alterre designs for the dynamic woman who seeks both elegance and practicality. The brand is deeply committed to ethical practices, being a certified sustainable company and dedicating 5% of its profits to Restore NYC, an organisation supporting survivors of sex-trafficking. This commitment extends throughout their supply chain, actively supporting other women-led businesses. Discover Alterre's Versatile Product Range The core of Alterre's offering lies in its versatile and interchangeable footwear system. Shoppers can explore a wide array of women's shoes online, including stylish heels, comfortable flats, elegant pumps, and practical boots. Beyond complete shoes, Alterre provides individual straps, various shoe bases, and unique accessories, allowing customers to create bespoke combinations. Their collections cater to every occasion, from the 'Resort Collection' and 'Bridal Shop' to 'Workwear' and 'Animal Print' styles. Alterre also offers extended and half sizes, ensuring a perfect fit for every foot. The Alterre Difference: Unmatched Comfort and Quality What sets Alterre apart is its unwavering focus on comfort without compromising on style. Customers consistently praise the 'insanely comfortable' feel of these shoes, a result of thoughtful design incorporating added padding and lower inclines. This means you can enjoy the sophistication of designer footwear without the usual discomfort. The patented stud system makes customising your shoes a breeze, allowing for quick and easy changes to suit any outfit or event.
