James Shaw and Alastair Rae set up Albam Clothing in the East Midlands in 2006, and the menswear label is now based in London. It makes everyday essentials such as overshirts, jackets, knitwear and trousers, designed to last rather than chase trends. Besides the website, there are two London shops, in Soho and Islington. It suits men building a practical, long-wearing wardrobe.
